Country Pride Labradors provides a 48-hour health guarantee on our puppies. The guarantee is initiated upon receipt of your puppy.
Your new puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of delivery to include its 1st shots and dewormings. During the 48 hour period the buyer should have the puppy examined by a qualified veterinarian and is HIGHLY encouraged to do so; the examination being at the buyer's expense. The buyer should request a complete physical exam of the puppy to include a stool sample being examined for worms, a common occurrence in young puppies.
In order to establish a healthy immune system, our puppies have been started on NuVet Plus nutritional supplement. Due to the variety of different quality dog foods available, we require that all Country Pride puppies be kept on NuVet Plus for the first two years to keep the guarantee in force. If the examining veterinarian should find anything SERIOUSLY wrong with the puppy, i.e., parvo, corona, or distemper(internal or external parasites are not considered serious illnesses), the buyer may exchange the puppy for another equivalent puppy, same sex and color when available. The exchange is dependent upon the buyer providing a signed statement from the examining veterinarian detailing the puppy's illness. The letter MUST be signed and dated during the 48 hour period. No exchange will be made after this time period, and no refunds will be made under any circumstances.
Breeder offers no explicit guarantees against hip dysplasia ; however, should the dog become disabled by hip dysplasia before the age of two years due to a genetic defect in the hip, breeder will replace the dog with one of equal value. Breeder will have the right to have puppy x-rayed by a veterinarian of his choice for a 2nd opinion at his expense. This guarantee does not cover trauma related or environmental factors that have affected the dogs adversely.
In the event that the dog becomes blind in either or both eyes from a genetic defect, the breeder will replace the dog with one of equal value. The genetic defect must be professionally diagnosed by a veterinarian, and a written record must be produced by the buyer. This guarantee does not cover trauma related or environmental factors that have affected the dog's eyes adversely. If the dog is bred before two years of age this contract is no longer in effect.
THIS GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER MISTREATMENT OF PUPPY, TRAUMA, INJURY, ACCIDENTS, POISONING, ETC., DURING THE PERIOD OF GUARANTEE!
If a replacement puppy is from a different litter with a higher price, buyer understands he/she is responsible for the price difference prior to exchange. In addition, if puppy is being shipped, buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.
The breeder assumes no responsibility other than as specified above. Issues such as family disagreements or landlord concerns after delivery, allergies, medical expenses, future illness, diseases, death, or any other reason are not covered by any written or implied guarantee.
